SHORT INTERVIEW WITH ESTHER ANDREA QUEEN

Q) Triumphant Radio: Please can we officially meet you?

A) I am Esther Andrea N’zue but I’m informally known as Esther Queen. I am originally from Cote d’Ivoire but based in the UK. As you would appreciate I come from a country where French is our first language, so my friends also tag me as the French girl.

I hold a degree in Economics and Business Administration.

Q) Triumphant Radio: Tell us about your background and your music life?

 A) Well, I have always been is the music ministry. This stems from following my parents to church and being in the choir from my teenage days, I guess I followed that through till the present moment. Though while growing up I was involved in other career paths. And as a young girl, I have always desired and prayed to God that ” I don’t just want to sing, but when I sing i want to see healing, deliverance and breakthroughs happening”.

Q) Triumphant Radio: Wow! so how long have you being doing music?

A) Like I previously said, I have been singing actively since my teenage days but actively took the music ministry a little seriously 5-6 years ago. I used to be in a group when I studied in India for my Post graduate degree.

 Q) Triumphant Radio: So what are your challenges since you started music ministry?

A) One of the challenges I have encountered is trying to distinguish between ministry and entertainment. Looking at the gospel music industry lately you hear some songs and get confused. But as an upcoming artist, you need to have mentors, so I look unto my mentors like Tasha Cobbs and Maranda Curtis and learn from them by observation. I have just started so I wouldn’t say I have faced much of a challenge as such.

Q) Triumphant Radio: May I ask do u have any Albums or how many single have released?

 A) I do not have an album yet but I am currently working on 2 songs. One is almost ready for release as my debut single.

Q) Triumphant Radio: Can you tell the world about your newest song release and the inspiration behind this Song…..

A) My debut track is titled Spirit of the Living God. It speaks of us as Christians yearning for the rain of the Holy spirit. I really treasure every moment in his presence. Any time i was going through difficulties , the only place i could find peace, restoration and healing was in his presence (the sweet fellowship with the spirit of God), and it always bring me back to Ezekiel 37.. humm

The spirit of  God took the prophet in the valley of dry bones..  Though he was asked to prophesy,we can clearly see that there was an atmosphere in which the prophecy was made for the dry bones to come alive (the presence of the spirit of the living God) and i always long for this atmosphere because anything I need is in his presence.

Q)  Triumphant Radio:  Do you have plan shooting the video of this song any time soon

A) There is no immediate plan for that at the moment but you never know. As previously mentioned I have other songs and would probably need to see which one is more appropriate to release.

Q)  Triumphant Radio:  Can you tell us something about the music industry in the United Kingdom.

A) The music industry in the UK is not as pronounce as in Africa. As you must have noticed, the gospel is beginning to die down in the UK. That’s why we as Christians have a duty to keep preaching the gospel through our songs to the community in which we belong. Then our songs can be appreciated more. The UK music has a ‘sound’ in which you can identify it. I’m not quite sure the community has embraced this sound. You see churches appreciating songs originating mostly from places like Nigeria and Ghana more than those from the UK. That says a lot.

Q)  Triumphant Radio: Esther Andrea Queen are you single or married?

A) I am not married yet (smile)

Q)  Triumphant Radio: What inspires you when you write your songs?

A) My inspiration are diverse. The Holy spirit gives me inspiration but mostly when I think of the greatness of God or the need of the Holy Spirit, I get inspired to write more. That’s why you might hear my songs are mainly towards that direction.

Q) Triumphant Radio:  So Esther, who or what are your greatest influences, role models and mentors, spiritual leaders?

A) Musically, Tasha Cobbs and Maranda Curtis. As a matter of fact some of my friends nicknamed me Andrea Cobbs (laughs).  My mentors are My pastor Pst Nathaniel in the comission i belong to and Pst Roland Zadi (back home). however I also follow women of God like Pst Sarah jakes and Pst Funke Adejumo.

Q) Triumphant Radio: Your last words Esther Queen?

A) I just want to encourage everyone out there that Jesus loves them and no matter the challenges you have been through, you can still break forth in praises. Lastly I cannot over-emphasize the need to have the Holy Spirit as your helper…He is always there to help you. So call on him.

Q)  So how can your fans reach you on social media or if they need you for events, how can they reach your management team?

A) I am on Facebook Esther Andrea Queen , Instragram  @esther_andrea_queen.

Watch: Tina Campbell admits Mary Mary’s nasty behavior on their reality show ‘is not of God’

If you believe God is not pleased with the way Mary Mary has conducted themselves on their self-titled WE tv reality show, apparently, the sisters agree.

Tina Campbell has denounced the “foolishness” she and her sibling Erica Campbell have been displaying on the small screen during Season 5.

“It’s a lot of unnecessary arguing and bickering and stuff,” said the “Speak The Word” singer during a recent interview on TBN’s “Praise the Lord,” acknowledging that nasty attitudes and confrontations don’t reflect their professed Christianity.

Erica nodded affirmatively during Tina’s confession.

The successful gospel singers have been heavily criticized by Christians and non-Christians alike for acting no different from those who don’t claim to be followers of Jesus.

Though host Donnie McClurkin tried to excuse the talented twosome’s arguments away by saying “It’s called family,” Tina, 41, retorted, “No, it’s called foolishness.”

“First of all, we ain’t kids no more. Let’s stop all this bickering,” the red-haired, outspoken sister said. “Our children are following us, because me and you [are] arguing, acting like clowns and this contention is not of God.”

Tina continued, “And I’m not saying that we’re perfect,” and claimed that “our perspective has changed.”

According to Erica, 43, who is the First Lady of California Worship Center where her husband Warryn Campbell is pastor, since Mary Mary went on break, their relationship has improved.

“We enjoy each other much more. We used to argue,” she said.

Tina agreed, chiming in, “We do, now that we’re separate. We like each other a little bit more.”

Watch the interview snippet, plus a full soul-stirring performance from Tina of her current single, “Speak the Word.”

Inspirations:Gospel Singer Tasha Cobbs Says Black Church Can Help With Depression

“I am a living witness that you can be freed and you can be cured and healed from it,” Cobbs said.

“I’ve been very active in ministry all of my life. Just always been a hard worker. So I think throughout those years sometimes you can develop habits and ways of life that are not so healthy for you; but you’re not aware of it because you’re so busy focused on careers and other things,” Cobbs said during an interview with The Huffington Post. “So I believe that, for years, that was something that was building up and maybe I didn’t focus on it until that one day, in 2010, when I was at home lying in the bed, and I realized that I’ve been there for three days in a dark room with the curtains closed and the covers over my head, and I’m thinking, ‘Ok, Tasha, this is abnormal.’ I think that was the moment when it reached the climax, where it was like ‘you have to deal with this before it becomes a major issue for you moving forward.’”
Following her epiphany, Cobbs was diagnosed with depression after attending her first therapy consultation, where she discussed her various symptoms. Now, the singer says she still attends therapy sessions once every month to make sure she stays “connected” with her therapist.

While there is a stigma attached to mental health issues in the black community and it is often viewed as a taboo topic to even discuss, Cobbs believes the issue should be considered a health priority — similar to other serious medical conditions.

“I think when you say ‘mental health,’ automatically people think ‘I’m not crazy,’ because we haven’t put a definition to exactly what we’re saying,” she said. “I believe when you say ‘it’s a mental health issue,’ it’s like having diabetes or something’s wrong with my toes or whatever the case is — it’s a medical condition and it can be dealt with. Just like you can manage a broken finger, you can manage mental health issues. I am a living witness that you can be freed and you can be cured and healed from it, but you have to first acknowledge that it exists.”

Moving forward, the Grammy Award winner wants to address the treatment of depression in the black community by doing things like hosting therapy sessions at church conferences for people who may never have considered seeking therapy in the past.

“I believe churches will begin to open up their doors for more focus on this,” she said.

As the singer continues her own journey to wellness, she is preparing for the April 8th release of a complimentary DVD to support her second album, “One Place Live,” which was released in 2015 and landed on top of Billboard’s Gospel and Christian album charts. This DVD, which will have the same title, features live performances and interview footage.

Triumphant radio Celebrates the President of BLW Nation PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME PhD.

Celebration of a Man with a Mandate – Pastor Chris Oyakhilome PhD

In the News Today — A Timely Voyage at the Offer 7 Banquet Party.

Succeeding the President’s over-night celebration with the BLW Nigeria HQ staff members late Sunday evening, we were just aboard The Epouranic, for a royal banquet in celebration of the birthday of the President of the BLW Nation, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome PhD.

Setting its sail from the shores of the Loveworld Convocation Arena on an audacious voyage, under the command of its captain, Pastor T.T Edun, The Epouranic (translating ‘the Heavenly realms’) hosted several Presidential guests and senior Pastors in the BLW Nation. Ushered in by members of the CEC, and a royal orchestra of an ever-harmonious music band, the President made a majestic entrance unto the main deck of the ship for a cruise like never before. The heavenly ship docked at several nations including Tonga, United Kingdom, South Africa, India, Canada, Brazil; with spirit-filled ministrations in songs and dances from all across the world and video highlights of the exploits of the man of God, Pastor Chris, projected on the ship’s king-size panoramic screen.

The banquet reached its climax with the President’s vote of thanks, emphasizing the expressed singleness of a global vision in the hearts of all in the BLW Nation, before pouring out words of blessings upon the guests at the night’s event. The night’s celebration of a man with a mandate – Pastor Chris Oyakhilome PhD – was doubtlessly a prestigious one full of pure glamor, fun and undiluted merriment all the way. Overwhelming joy encapsulated the enthralled guests at the royal banquet, before the heavenly ship finally dropped its anchor at the Lagos dock. Thank you for cruising with us.
