New Music: Oh NIGERIA! – Kunle Praise [@k_praise] ft Skyboo.mp3

Coming after his debut track is his PEACE song “Oh Nigeria”. Kunle Praise has a message for Nigeria at this trying time of our nationhood.

President Kennedy’s speech has great implications for Nigeria, a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic and multi-linguistic country whose diverse entities were brought together as one nation by an accident of history. We have been together now for over two centuries. Although like in many marriages, we are sometimes not comfortable staying together, we should realize that much more unites us than divides us and that our being together is an act of God. We should not allow anything to divide us.

Coming from afar, I see the beauty of a Nation, a land of bright and full opportunity for all, a land of great and dynamic economy…

Nobody can do it for us, we need to UNITE,

In UNITY, only then we can be STRONG,

God has made us a great NATION,

Economically Okay,

Reaping from our great & diverse economy,

In FELLOWSHIP, let’s unite,

And make NIGERIA great!!!

All these could be achieved when we allow UNITY, PEACE and LOVE to reign in our fatherland.

GOD BLESS NIGERIA!!!

New Music: “Give Him Praises” – Chica Michelle || @chikaiscoo & @amenradio1

Her musical journey is nothing but a testimony to God’s everlasting providence in her life. A British born Nigerian singer – songwriter, Chica Michelle demonstrated her passion for singing at a very young age and has not stopped ever since.

In the early 2000, she worked with state radio stations in Nigeria, top radios DJ’s and entrepreneurs develop promotional jingles which made her a sought after artist of her time. Chica took a long break from music to raise her two beautiful children.

She expresses her undying love for God through her music.

Sharing the testimony behind her debut single titled ”Give Him Praises”, Chica said ”I was at this stage in my life where I strongly believed challenges were obstacles rather than tools that can mould and shape your destiny. I believe now that part of my growth and maturity relies on how I handle the effects of those challenges. My struggles and how I dealt with them made my journey extremely difficult because I was relying on my own strength and capabilities. It became evident afterwards that without the grace of God, who is the Giver of all good gifts, I could not do anything that I would find satisfactory. So I learnt to relinquish total control to God and allow Him to guide my steps.

I met Seyi Ademiju, my producer, to discuss my music project. The plan was to work on a worship song I wrote in 1996, but that changed when he made me listen to a beat. I was hit with the words right there at that moment and all I did was sing without a hitch….praise him cos am thankful. It felt right to praise Him first because God has done an an amazing job at being patient with me. He could have given up on me but on the contrary He did not. I owe Him too much and since praise is all He can take in appreciation for His Love then I will give Him praises”. – Chica Michelle

For the things that he has done
I call him faithful

DEVOTIONALS BY CREFLO DOLLAR

“For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted” (Luke 14:11, NKJV).
Putting others first may not be the popular thing to do in the world, but it’s something we’re commanded to do as Christians walking in Jesus’ footsteps. During His ministry, Jesus told the parable of the guest at the wedding feast to challenge the Pharisees, because He knew that maintaining the status quo was more important to them than walking in love.

Behold the Lord Gloria Copeland

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Romans 12:2

Inside, you’re perfect—born again in the image of Jesus Himself. But outwardly do you find yourself falling frustratingly short of that perfection? Is there a solution? Yes! The secret lies in “the renewing of your mind.”

Romans 12:2 tells us that, if you’ll renew your mind, you can actually be “transformed.” That word transformed is translated from the Greek word from which we get the term metamorphosis. It’s used in Scripture in two other places.

One of those places is when Jesus was transfigured on the Mount as He spoke with Moses and Elijah. The other is found in 2 Corinthians 3:18. It says, “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

Changed, transformed, transfigured! Those are powerful, exciting words, and they describe what will happen to you as you spend time beholding the Lord in the Word and in prayer. As you spend time renewing your mind, your outer being will be transformed in much the same way as a caterpillar is changed into a butterfly. Instead of conforming to the image of the world, you’ll begin to conform to the image of the reborn spirit within you which is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Take time to get away from the world and study God’s Word. Meditate on it and let it change you from the inside out. Be transformed by the renewing of your mind and release the beautiful spiritual butterfly that’s living in you!

Scripture Reading:
2 Corinthians 3:6-18

According to Your Gift by Joyce Meyer – posted February 21, 2017

Having gifts (faculties, talents, qualities) that differ according to the grace given us, let us use them: [He whose gift is] prophecy, [let him prophesy] according to the proportion of his faith; [He whose gift is] practical service, let him give himself to serving; he who teaches, to his teaching.
—Romans 12:6-7

It’s a time-tested truth: Most people who criticize others for what they are doing are usually doing nothing themselves. It is sad when people have nothing better to do than criticize those who are trying to do something to make the world a better place.

I recall being a member of one church in which the pastor felt that any woman who wanted to do anything other than pray, clean, or work in the nursery had to present her case to him and the elders for their approval. I was teaching a very successful home Bible study, and the pastor told my husband he should be teaching the meeting rather than me. The pastor had his rules, but God had called me to teach, and He had not called Dave in that way. Dave has other wonderful, valuable gifts, but he is not called to teach. Surely if God had not wanted me to teach, He would not have gifted me to do it—and given me a desire to do it. As far as I can discern from Scripture, God is not in the business of frustrating and confusing people.

Lord, thank You for the spiritual gift You’ve given me. Direct me in how to use it to glorify Your name. Amen.

THE GIFT OF NO CONDEMNATION

20
Feb
John 8:11
…“Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”
When Jesus was on earth, a woman caught in the act of adultery was brought before Him by the scribes and Pharisees, the religious mafia of His day. They tried to trap Him by posing a question that was difficult to answer: “Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?” (John 8:5)

Jesus answered, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” (John 8:7) The scribes and Pharisees began to leave one by one till none of them were left.

The people in the crowd who wanted to condemn the woman could not. But Jesus, the only one in the crowd who truly had the power to condemn her, would not. He then asked her, “Woman…Has no one condemned you?” (John 8:10)

He spoke such words of grace to her because He loved her. Also, by asking her the question, He was giving her a chance to speak words of no condemnation to herself—“No one [condemns me], Lord.” (John 8:11)

Jesus not only spoke words of grace to her, He also gave her the gift of no condemnation—“Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more”. It was when she received the gift of no condemnation that she had the power to “go and sin no more”.

Today, you have the gift of no condemnation because the Son of God was condemned for all your sins. (Romans 8:1) Today, God cannot condemn you when you sin because He is faithful and just to what His Son has done.

So if the devil tries to convince you that God is angry with you when you blow it, just say, “God does not condemn me today because He has already condemned Jesus at the cross 2,000 years ago!”

Unfortunately, we still hear people saying, “Go and sin no more first, then I won’t condemn you.” Maybe you have been saying this to yourself too. But God says, “I don’t condemn you. Go and sin no more.” He gives you the gift of no condemnation, so that you have the strength to go and sin no more!

Thought For The Day
You have the gift of no condemnation because the Son of God was condemned for all your sins.
