Houston – GRAMMY® Award nominated recording artist Kurt Carr (best known for hit songs such as “In the Sanctuary”, “I Almost Let Go”, and “For Every Mountain”), is set to record his 9th album entitled, “Bless Somebody Else,” live on Sunday, June 17th at Fountain of Praise Church in Houston, TX. The recording is scheduled to begin at 5pm and will be in tribute to Father’s Day, celebrating Fathers and giving back to the community.
“I’m excited to bring new music to the world,” Carr says. “It’s been a long time coming. I’ve worked on so many other albums over the last few years for others, but now it’s time to share with you what the Lord has given me. I also want to take the time to honor fathers who are sometimes overlooked but who are dedicated to raising strong, successful, and productive children.”
The recording will feature all of the legendary Kurt Carr Singers soloists. Carr will also debut the two winners from his recent Millennial Kurt Carr Singers Talent Search, an online competition that Carr launched to attract some new, young talent to the Kurt Carr Singers brand.
“It’s been said that millennials don’t go to church and have drifted from God, but I don’t believe that is true,” Carr adds. “So, I have decided to search for two exceptionally-gifted millennial singers who have a serious desire to worship God in song and I found them.”

“But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind”
Have you heard this before “unbelieving believers”? That is the best way to describe many of God’s children who believe in Christ Jesus but do not believe in the works of Christ. They believe Jesus as their saviour but not as their healer, they believe that He had paid the price for their sins but they are yet to believe that He had paid the price for their success and breakthroughs. So, they are doubters because they can’t stand on the promises of God. They can’t ask God to give them anything without doubting it. They are never sure that God will do whatever He says.
Who is the fellow that operates in unbelief? He/she is a person who believes in the existence of God but does not believe in the promises of God. He/she is a fellow who believes that God is good but he is not sure whether God will be good concerning His words. This is the point, unbelief is more dangerous than the power of witches, wizards and curses. Speaking about the Israelites, the bible says “So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.” Wow, these were the same people that the evil power of Pharaoh could not stop from leaving Egypt, but unbelief was able to stop them from entering Canaan. Witches, wizards and curses could not stop them from gaining their freedom but unbelief denied them of experiencing true liberty.
Doubting God and His word is more destructive than the evil power of darkness. Like our text says “But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind” verse 7 continues to say “or let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” This means, unbelief can render many hours of prayers, fasting, giving of seed and kingdom service useless. This also means, no matter how much you love the Lord, if you can’t trust Him, believe in Him, you would not have all He promises to do for you.
Sometimes unbelief is not total disbelief in the promises of God, it is just a belief system that says “what the devil wants to do is more real than what God promises to do”. Now, to conquer unbelief, you must believe that whatever God promises to do is more real than what the devil is planning to do. To overcome unbelief you must always remind yourself that, it does not matter how long and what happens, what God says will surely come to pass because He said in His word “Heaven and earth may pass away but a jolt in His will not go unfulfilled” Psalm 138:2 also said “..For He has magnified His word above all His name.” Hallelujah.
Confession
Father, I believe You and Your word more than I believe the lies of the devil. Your word is true, your word is Yes and Amen in Christ Jesus.

GOODNEWS DEVOTIONAL. 💣FRIDAY, 15TH OF JUNE 2018 👔 SPEAKING THE INVISIBLE INTO REALITY 2 TEXT: HEBREWS 1:3
” By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible_ ”
Our text means that the things that are visible were spoken into being from the invisible realm. It means the words of believers can bring into the reality the things that are not physically present now. This is the point, when God wanted to create the heavens and the earth, He had no physical materials, there was no money to use, no man power, no stone or sand, but God made use of the power of His words so that all the things He needed were supernaturally supplied. It also means it is good to speak forth what you want to see before you start pursuing it.
Now, there are spiritual laws to fulfill before you can use the word to frame your world. It is not every statement a person utters that can bring into reality things that are invisible. There are ways to talk for the talk to work. Isaiah 8:20 says “To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” The first law says ” You must speak what you mean and mean what you say” This means, you must speak from your heart and not just from your lips. You must mean it before you declare it. Jeremiah 29:13 says “And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart”
This means your heart must agree with your mouth and your mouth must also agree with your heart. What you are thinking must agree with what you are saying. Secondly, you must say it as if it has been done. For instance, if you want to see your word changing your world, you don’t say ” God will do it” You simply say “God has done it. God has blessed me, God has healed me are all languages of faith. Romans 4:17 says about Abraham that he “..was calling those things that be not as though they were” In other words, the way he was able to bring into existence things that were not in existence was that he was calling those things as if they were already in existence. For instance he was not saying “I will be father of many nations” He was actually saying ” I am a father of many nations”
The next thing is to speak specifically. God did not say “Let there be things I need” When He needed light, God specifically said “Let there be light” Also, you must be ready to say it until you have it. You do not say it once or thrice, you say it until you see it. That is the principle of God. It may take you days, months and even years, if you will not change your confession and be persistent at it, what is not visible will surely become visible. Psalm 50:1 says “The Mighty One, God the Lord, Has spoken and called the earth From the rising of the sun to its going down.” God said it until He saw it. And lastly, you must speak with boldness. It takes bold declaration to see bold manifestation. Jesus said ” Lazarus, come forth ” So, what are you declaring with boldness ?

Father, I declare I am more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. I’m healthy and wealthy. I have broken through in my finances and career in Jesus name.
