Anointed International gospel music minister and songwriter, Psalmos, is out with a double release titled “Mori Anu Gba” and “New Day” featuring her husband and long-time collaborator, Oniyo.
“Mori Anu Gba,” a Yoruba titled song [a song widely spoken in the south western region of Nigeria] which translates to mean “I Have Received Mercy,” is inspired by a simple yet profound moment of worship.
This song, although written by Oniyo, Psalmos reveals the inspiration behind the song, “He just woke up in the morning with so much gratitude to God for all he has done.”
The song beautifully captures the essence of thanksgiving and grace, blending Psalmos’ signature anointed vocals with Oniyo’s inspired production. “The song is inspired by the Spirit of God. It was a season of my life where God was talking to me about Isaiah 43:19 and Psalm 126:1. God turned situations around for my good. I’m grateful to God, and this is me testifying of God’s goodness. It is my affirmation, declaration, and confession,” she shares the motivation behind the song.
“New Day” captures the essence of divine restoration, hope, and new beginnings — reminding listeners that no matter how dark a night may seem, joy truly comes in the morning.
