Brief History
Highlife historically as being in exitence since the 20th century, with a combination of Jazz and the traditional African feels. Highlife music was originated from Ghana which was later spread to western Nigeria,and flourished in both countries in the 1950s.
The earliest form of highlife was performed primarily by brass bands along the Ghanaian coast, that makes highlife of great importance among the west African coast nations.

Ajah, Lagos State (October 12th, 2017) – The Holy Ghost Party a Bi-Monthly Praise and Worship event organized by RCCG, Tabernacle of David, Ajah, Lagos is set to be the best and the biggest praise and worship event ever this October 2017.
The Holy Ghost Party has been running for More than six years and it has featured top gospel artists, bands and ministers in Nigeria Like Chioma Jesus, Frank Edwards, Nathaniel Bassey, Big Bolaji, RCCG Praise Team, and the True Worshippers just to name a few.
This October Holy Ghost Party will hold on Friday, 27th of October 2017 and will be headlined for the first time ever by the world-renowned and award-winning gospel artiste and minister Sinach.
Sinach a world-renowned gospel artiste has travelled far and wide all over the world and ministered along-side great men of God.
SInach will be joined this October by Chioma Jesus another Gospel music heavyweight whose music is well known all over the African continent.
Bee Jay Sax, RCCG Praise Team and the in-house choir of RCCG Tabernacle of David the True Worshippers who will open the night with Heaven reaching and earth transforming Praise and Worship.
The ministration of the word will be done by Pastor Peter Amenkhienan one of the newly appointed Assistant General Overseers in The Redeemed Christian Church of God.
The service will be Hosted by Pastor Olukayode Pitan who is the MD/ C.E.O of Nigeria’s Bank of Industry, Pastor-In-Charge of RCCG, Lagos Province 46 and Assistant Pastor-in-Charge of RCCG, Region 20.
The service kicks off by 10 pm and won’t end till about 5 am the following Saturday morning.

The favourflakes concert is an annual musical concert in the Lagos musical calender known for its distinctiveness and inclusiveness. As well as being recognized by many, the Favour Flakes’ concert has been acknowledged for its commitment to the wellbeing of the community hence the reason behind it’s outreach to the orphans every year and during the concert. This year’s edition of the favourflakes concert promises to be musically and and comically interactive because we have selected the best voices in the musical space and the most hilarious in the comedy industry.
Favour Flakes Concert had its fourth edition in 2016 in a fully packed event tagged THE REVELATION. A young girl was blessed with the gift of music. It was her calling. She was in every choir, in church, in school and in the community. As she grew up, the gift of music had to give way for her education, her business and her career in the financial and banking sectors. She was quite successful in these fields and built a reputation for herself and employers. However, the Giver of the gift had required it, as she was featuring in the future of man’s expectation not in the one He pictured. To everyone, she is fulfilled in life but it’s until she does what her Maker requires that her life be fulfilled.
This is the true story of Elizabeth Ngozi Ehigiamusoe, musically known as Ehiliz. She has a new album titled FUTURE WILL TELL, a compilation of Gospel and Inspirational songs to glorify God and edify men, women, youths and children everywhere.
