SUCCESS AND PROBLEMS

Today: 2015-09-15

There are more problems with success than with failure.

You can’t want success and detest problem.

Everything including problems is attracted to success.

Success is challenged and sustained by problem.

Truly successful people don’t see problems as enemies or as threat. They embrace and treat them as catalyst to greater success.

All advancement are dressed in the overall called adversity.

When problem comes to stage see beyond it to behind the veil.

Problems proceeds progress. Acts 1:6

True definition of success is problem solving.

More problems naturally attracts more success.

Running away from problems is running away from success.

Take Up the Easy Yoke

by Joyce Meyer – posted September 15, 2015

Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls.
– Matthew 11:29

There is a life that is so superior to anything the world has to offer that no comparison can be made. But in order to have that kind of life you must be willing to take up the yoke of Christ and learn His ways. This means you must stay close to Him and learn how He handles every situation that arises.

His ways and thoughts are far superior to yours, and you must be willing to abandon yourself to Him and discover what His will is for your life.

Give up being independent and learn to lean and depend on God. Give Him full reign of your life. In return you will find rest, relief, ease, refreshment, recreation, and blessed quiet.

Pastor Joseph Prince- Christ Your Wisdom Gives You Good Success

1 Corinthians 1:30

But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God…

It is believed that there has never been a wealthier king than King Solomon. God gave him wisdom that not only made him wise in matters of justice, but also brought him gold and silver. (1 Kings 3:12–13)

According to a report by the Illinois Society of Architects in 1925, the cost of Solomon’s temple in terms of existing values would have been about US$87 billion! The priests wore garments costing more than US$10 million! These amounts only cover what Solomon spent on the temple and not his personal assets.

We can go on talking about the riches of King Solomon, but the Bible tells us that there is one greater than Solomon. (Matthew 12:42) His name is Jesus, and He is the most prosperous Man who ever lived and who will ever live.

If there was a need to feed the hungry, He simply multiplied whatever food was placed in His hands. On one occasion, He multiplied five loaves and two fish to feed 5,000 men, not counting women and children. And incredibly, there were 12 baskets full of leftovers. (Matthew 14:15–21)

If any of His own faced lack, it was not long before abundant provision flowed to them. Once, when His disciples caught nothing after a whole night of fishing, He merely spoke a word of command and schools of fish obeyed, swimming toward His disciples’ boat so that they received a net-breaking, boat-sinking load of fish. (Luke 5:1–7) In another incident, He provided the money for the temple tax, even if it took a fish to bring it to them! (Matthew 17:24–27)

My friend, this same Jesus has become for you wisdom from God. If you are a businessman, with Christ in you, you have wisdom that is greater than the wisdom of all the world’s business gurus put together. And if you are a student, Christ in you will manifest wisdom that is greater than all the wisdom of the brilliant minds in the academic world.

Beloved, believe that because Jesus, God’s wisdom, is in you, there is no reason you cannot prosper today, and astound the world in the same way Solomon did!

Thought For The Day

Because Jesus, God’s wisdom, is in you, there is no reason you cannot prosper today.

YOUR DESTINY IS UNSTOPPABLE

Memorise: Thou wilt say then unto me, why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? Romans 9:19

Read: Jeremiah 1:4-7, Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.

But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.

MESSAGE

If God has a destination for you, your present situation cannot stop Him. The circumstances of life surrounding young Esther as a slave girl did not stop her from becoming queen of a very powerful kingdom. In the Name of Jesus Christ, your present circumstances shall not stop you from arriving at your God-appointed destiny! Similarly, concerning where God is taking you, your past does not matter. 2nd Corinthians 5:17 says if you are in Christ, old things are passed away and everything has become new. For this reason, God commands you thus in Isaiah 43:18:

“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.”

If you are sure of your salvation in Christ, whatever was in your past that the enemy wants to use in hindering your destiny will receive a divine touch. Everything in your past that can destroy your present and future, especially as relates to your destiny, shall be completely arrested by God today. From today, the mercy of God will go ahead of you, and your past shall no longer hinder you. Every accusing finger pointing at you shall stop in Jesus’ Name. The Lord says this to you in Romans 8:1:

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

Moreover, another vital information you should have is that God is the One who decides destinies. He told Jeremiah: “I have determined what you would be, long before I formed you and put you in your mother’s womb. While you were still in your mother’s womb, I ordained you to be a prophet to nations.” Long before you were born, God had already decided what you will be. He did not consult with your parents before taking His decisions about your destiny. If He did, they could have disqualified you. “Witches and wizards from your village” did not know what was going on at that time. They were not there when God was planning your life, hence they can’t stop you. In His mind, God has decided the following concerning you: it shall be well with you, you shall live to glorify His Name, you shall not die prematurely, you shall fulfil your destiny, and many more. Every good thing that the Lord has decided concerning you shall be established! Every destiny destroyer sent to hinder you shall fail and fall. Your tomorrow shall be far greater than your today. Every force that tries to hinder you shall be destroyed by the fire of the Holy Ghost in Jesus’ Name.

Prayer Point:

Father, paralyse every gang up of the enemy that wants to stop the good things You have started in my life.

Daily Devotional by Pastor Joseph Prince- Kept In All Your Ways By God’s Angels

Psalm 91:11–12

For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.

You are about to step onto the road when something pulls you back just in time to avoid being hit by a speeding car. You are shocked. When you come to your senses, you ask yourself, “Could it be that an angel just saved me from a fatal accident?”

I believe that angels walk with us. The verse tells us that God has given His angels charge over us to keep us in all our ways. And in their hands they will bear us up, so that not even a stone will trip us up.

But we may not know it when we encounter an angel. (Hebrews 13:2) This was probably the case with a couple in our church who were holidaying at a beach resort on Penang Island when a tsunami struck at about 12.30pm on 26 December 2004.

It was slightly past 11am when the wife suddenly had a craving for food from the mainland. The couple decided to check out earlier, so that they could reach the mainland in time for lunch. While loading their luggage into their car at the hotel driveway, a man impatiently motioned to them to hurry up and get moving.

Annoyed by his impatience, they quickly loaded their stuff and drove off. The minute they reached the mainland, they heard that a tsunami had struck Penang Island at the same beach where they were just a while ago. While thanking God for their narrow escape, it suddenly dawned on them that the impatient man could have been an angel charged by God to hurry them off!

God tells us that we have an innumerable company of angels. (Hebrews 12:22) And He has given them charge over us to protect us from accidents, natural disasters, terrorist bombings and other dangers. So don’t fear these things and lock yourself at home. Go for that holiday! Go for that lunch appointment! Believe that God loves you, and thank Him for His angels who walk with you and watch over you!

Thought For The Day

Don’t fear what the world fears because God loves you, and His angels walk with you and watch over you!

Psalm 91:2

I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.”

When a great storm arose as Jesus and His disciples were in a boat on the Sea of Galilee, He did not say to His disciples, “The storm is here to teach us courage.” Instead, He took authority over the storm and said, “Peace, be still!” And there was a perfect calm. (Mark 4:39)

When He met the widow of Nain whose only son had died, and on another occasion, the two sisters whose brother Lazarus had died, He didn’t tell them, “God wanted to take him home.” No, He spoke to the dead son: “Young man, I say to you, arise.” (Luke 7:14) And standing outside Lazarus’ tomb, He said, “Lazarus, come forth!” (John 11:43) And both men came back to life.

What have you been saying about your situation?

When you feel the pain in your body, don’t say of the Lord, “God wants me sick to teach me to trust Him more.” Instead, say, “Lord Jesus, I thank You that by Your stripes I am healed.” (1 Peter 2:24)

And while trying to make ends meet, don’t say of the Lord, “The Lord keeps me poor to keep me humble.” Instead, say, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1)

We are living in the last days when there are terrorist attacks and deadly viruses lurking around, and the world is afraid. But we will not speak negative words and be fearful like the people of the world. Instead, we will speak God’s Word and reign over these things. Like the psalmist, we will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.”

So find out what God’s Word says about your situation, believe it and declare it. And because God’s Word cannot return to Him void (Isaiah 55:11), you will see what you believe and confess come to pass!

Joshua 1:8

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

In life, there is good success and bad success. Bad success is the kind of success which robs you of time with your family, friends and church, and destroys your health and relationships. With good success, on the other hand, you see prosperity in every area of your life.

God wants you to enjoy good success and the key to this lies in what God told Joshua when he took over the reins following the death of his leader Moses—“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” Spending time in God’s Word daily will give you godly wisdom, which will make your way prosperous and give you good success.

Look at how Joshua’s life turned out in the end. When Joshua died, “they buried him within the border of his inheritance at Timnath Serah, which is in the mountains of Ephraim, on the north side of Mount Gaash”. (Joshua 24:30) Joshua had a whole mountain for his inheritance! This means that he was prosperous and successful!

It was also said that Israel served the Lord, not idols or other gods, all the days of Joshua’s life. (Joshua 24:31) This means that while Joshua was around, people were impacted for God’s glory.

And at the end of his life, a fulfilled Joshua had this to say, “But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15) Having your family loving God and serving Him with you is the most important success and greatest prosperity that you can ever have.

Beloved, when God’s Word takes priority in your daily life, not only will your finances be blessed, your ministry and family life will also be blessed!

Accessing Heaven’s Order of Financial Fortune through Divine Favour!

[wpdevart_like_box profile_id=”Triumphantradio” connections=”show” width=”30″ height=”55″ header=”small” cover_photo=”show” locale=”en_US”]

Accessing Heaven’s Order of Financial Fortune through Divine Favour!

Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof. So the heathen shall fear the name of the Lord, and all the kings of the earth thy glory (Psalms 102:13-15).

We understand from scriptures that favour is the mother of all fortune, financial fortune inclusive. For instance, after 430 years of servitude, poverty, lack and want, God transferred the wealth of Egypt to the Israelites by divine favour. As it is written: And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians (Exodus 12:36; see also Exodus 3:21).

It is important to understand that nothing makes a high flyer in the Kingdom like favour. For instance, it was favour that distinguished Joseph in Potiphar’s house and Potiphar made him lord over all that he had. It was that same favour that made Joseph an official in the prison where he was an inmate. Furthermore, it was favour that promoted him to the palace. Daniel also found favour with the chief eunuch and that opened up his destiny. Furthermore, David also found favour in the sight of the Lord. He said: Lord, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong… (Psalms 30:7; see also Genesis 39:5, 21; Daniel 1:9).

That is how powerful favour is, as it will launch anyone into realms of financial dominion, among others.

But, what is in divine favour?

  • Divine favour promotes: Divine favour engenders supernatural promotion. This was exemplified in the life of Joseph, as he experienced multiple change of levels until he got to the palace. Favour is a promoter and it changes people’s level supernaturally (Genesis 39:5, 21).
  • It triggers breakthroughs: Concerning Israel, the Bible says: For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them (Psalms 44:3; see also Isaiah 54:1-4).
  • It releases miracle marriage: It is written:Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord(Proverbs 18:22).
  • It releases miracle babies: It was said of Mary: “Thou art highly favoured among women” and by that, the laws of nature were suspended and she brought forth the miracle child, Jesus (Luke 1:26-32).
  • It releases miracle jobs (Matthew 20:1-6).
  • Favour saves (Ephesians 1:3, 2:5).
  • It defends (Job 1:8-9; Zechariah 2:8).
  • It makes great (1 Corinthians 15:10).

However, salvation is a fundamental requirement for walking in divine favour. This is because anyone who is not born again is considered spiritually dead and dead men do not require favour. Therefore, until a man is born again, he is not a candidate for favour. It is written:

For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield(Psalms 5:12).

At redemption, we became the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and divine favour only pertains to the redeemed. Thus, the above scripture can be read as: The Lord shall compass the redeemed about with favour as with a shield (see also 2 Corinthians 5:21).

Erroneously, the Church of Christ has interpreted grace to be unmerited favour and that is why many people never experience favour. It is important to know that ‘grace’ simply means divine favour and only the grace (favour) of salvation is unmerited. This is because sin is inherent in the human nature and the sinless Saviour (Jesus) delivered us from it by His Blood. As it is written: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8; see also Titus 2:11).

Therefore, the favour of salvation is the only free favour that we have from God. Every other form of favour we require, will only be released on the basis of meeting the conditions for them. For instance, all dimensions of life-transforming and level-changing favour will require the following channels:

Addiction to Kingdom promotion: We discover from scriptures that serving God’s interests on the earth is our launching pad into a world of unlimited favour. It is written: If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures (Job 36:11 see also Exodus 23:25-26; 1 Chronicles 29:3-6; Psalms 102:13-15).
That means as we serve the interest of God’s Kingdom on the earth and engage in Kingdom advancement endeavours, we commit God to lavish us with continuous favour in return.

We must note that all-round favour is only accessible through love-motivated, love-inspired and delightsome service. This is because the more our investment towards Kingdom advancement, the larger our financial coast.

Proven love for God: We must recognize that though redemption qualifies us to walk in favour, it is the love of God at work in us that launches us into its reality. When we are truly in love with God, we manifest divinity which is the realm of unquestionable dominion. It is written:
And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him (1 John 4:16).

When our love for God is perfected, we become divinity personified and we are filled with all the fullness of God. This makes us an embodiment of favour. That is why every man in love with God is a candidate for His favour. As it is written: Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him (1 Corinthians 2:9).

Solomon’s love for God launched him into the realm of heaven’s order of financial fortune. That is, it was his love for God that qualified him for favour; it was not demanded (1 Kings 3:3-4, 12-13).

As we maintain our love for God with proofs, we keep flowing in favour. It is impossible to be a genuine lover of God and lack favour because it is the portion of every of His lovers. However, the Bible admonishes us not just to love in words but in deed and in truth. Thus, when our love for God is proven, we become candidates for His favour and walk in it without sweat (I John 3:18).

The giving channel: This is a vital channel for provoking the release of divine favour and walking in it. Most people do not give because they lack a giving heart, not because they require what to give. We must understand that givers never run out of favour. Remember the Bible says: Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again (Luke 6:38; see also Psalms 45:12; Proverbs 3:9-10, 11:25, 28:27).
It is also important to note that the favour that engenders financial fortune answers to tithing. If we are not excited, delighted and tireless tithers, we are not candidates for the favour that engenders financial fortune, all other things we give notwithstanding (Malachi 3:10-12).

The prayer channel: Kingdom advancement prayer is one of the scriptural channels for walking in divine favour. It is written: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you (Matthew 6:33; see also 1 Chronicles 4:9-10; Esther 4 & 5 Hebrews 4:16).
When God told Solomon to ask for whatever he desired, his answer was a Kingdom-based prayer and God rewarded him with more than what he demanded. That simply connotes an addition. In other words, when we engage in Kingdom advancement prayers, we provoke God to add to us things that we did not ask for. Moreover, a genuine commitment to the advancement of the Kingdom commits God to take over our issues, which makes the journey of life stress free (1 Kings 3:5-9, 12-13).

Keeping company with the favoured: The company we keep determines what accompanies us. For instance, when Lot went with Abraham, the favour of God on Abraham rubbed off on him. Remember the Bible says that he that walks with wise men shall be wise but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. That means he that walks with the favoured shall also be favoured (Genesis 13:5; Proverbs 13:20).
The godliness channel: It is impossible to flow in favour without the fear of God, which also means godliness. Joseph knew no sin, so he became a candidate for divine favour. Daniel refused to defile himself and as a result, he enjoyed divine favour. His accusers couldn’t find anything against him, except against the law of His God (Genesis 39:9; Psalms 5:12, 1:1-6; Daniel 1:8, 6:5; Romans 6:1).
However, to enjoy continuous flow of favour, we must be planted in the house of God. This is because everyone who is truly planted in God’s house flourishes without sweat. As it is written: The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God (Psalms 92:12-13; see also Psalms 84:1, 10, 122:1).

It is also important to understand that every true member of God’s household is supernaturally provided for by God. That is why when we love and abide in the house of God, we are empowered to prosper. Moreover, the showers of blessings are ordained to keep falling on us as we are planted in the house of God. Therefore, we must remain positioned and planted in God’s house to keep flowing in His favour (Psalms 132:13-15; Ezekiel 34:25-26; Obadiah 1:17; Ephesians 2:19; 1 Timothy 5:8).

We must recognize that nothing creates and sustains a future like favour and no destiny will ever be greater than the grace of God at work in that destiny. Everyone is qualified to flow in divine favour, if only we take responsibility. This is because God is not a respecter of persons; what He does for one, He will do for another(Acts 10:34; Romans 2:11). Therefore, as you take personal responsibility to engender divine favour, everything that favour offers becomes your portion in Jesus’ name! Remain ever blessed!

Jesus is Lord!

Love in the Home by Pastor(Mrs) Faith Oyedepo

PRACTICAL LOVE IN THE HOME (4)

Dear Reader,

God designed marriage and family for love, joy, peace, pleasure and prosperity. Lack of love is responsible for most of the crises in the home. Love is a vital key that unlocks all other blessings of marriage. In other words, when love is given expression in the home, there will be joy, peace, etc.

As I have said, time and again, love is not love until it is expressed. The important issue that will be addressed in this week’s article, therefore, is How to express your love to your spouse by your actions.

Loving By Action

Someone rightly said, “Action speaks louder than words.” There’s a place for words, but there is also a place for action. Lending a helping hand and being available makes a lot of difference in relationships. They are ways of saying, “I care.” Someone once said that it can be quite frustrating for a woman to be doing the housework, while the man just sits in front of the television enjoying a game of football and from time to time turn around to say to the tired and worn-out woman, “I love you dear.”She knows you love her; at least you have said so. But take a step and help her by doing your fair share of household chores; it adds credence to your words!

Here is a testimony of a brother who put this wisdom to use: “When Bishop Oyedepo’s wife taught us the course, Family Life at the Word of Faith Bible School, one would have thought she had secretly conducted a research on me. This was because every aspect of the lecture was directed at me, positively or negatively! After the second day of the course, I got home and saw that my wife had to carry 20 crates of soft drinks down the road, while she was at the same time getting dinner ready. Unknown to her, I packed all the crates into my car and took them there for her. When I got home, behold, my wife was at the door, and seeing that I had packed all the crates down the road, she started singing and dancing! Children of God, that was all the service I needed to have rendered in my family. Since then, it has been tranquility, joy and peace galore!” –David, D.

Touching

Sometimes, a touch speaks just as much as words. It communicates, “I am with you.” It keeps the fire burning all the time. Husband and wife, study to be romantic. Couples are to be “ravished” by each other’s love! God’s Word says: … Be thou ravished always with her love(Proverbs 5:19). “Ravished” means transported by delight. It will work wonders in your family!

Giving

God so loved the world and He gave His Son! If you claim to love, it must find expression in your giving. A thoughtful little gift at the right time, can work wonders! You must make it a point of duty to remember special days such as birthdays, anniversaries and special occasions to share the joy of the moment by exchanging gifts. These were the things you did while in courtship; you should not let them slip by, just because you are now married.

Husband, there may be times when your wife is down physically. Remember “love is medicine.”At such times, all you need to do is to show a little more love and she will be okay! Some kind words, a little physical touch, some kisses or a little gift from you will do the magic! You can use the time you would have spent at the doctor’s office, to demonstrate your love to her and you wouldn’t have to spend money on drugs.

I will never forget an experience I had some years back. I was down physically and my husband went out one of those days and came back with a little beautifully wrapped gift. He personally presented it to me, expressing his love for me. Could you believe that little act of love from him, brought me health and I never needed any medication? Many years have passed, but I still keep the gift, well preserved till today. There is no woman who hates to be loved! Wives, don’t take your husband for granted and say, “He knows I don’t earn money.” A kiss or a little gift from you, will constantly go a long way to express your love for him.

The love of God can only find expression through you, when you are a born-again child of God. This is done by confessing your sins and accepting Jesus as your Saviour and Lord. If you are ready for this new birth experience, please say this prayer:

“Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me of my sins and cleanse me with Your Blood. Deliver me from sin and satan to serve the living God. I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Make me a child of God today. Thank You for accepting me into Your Kingdom.”

If you prayed this simple prayer, you are now a child of God. He loves you and will never leave you. Read your Bible daily, obey God’s Word and seek Christian fellowship (John 14:21).

Congratulations! You are now born again! All-round rest and peace are guaranteed you, in Jesus’ Name. Call or write, and share your testimonies with me through contact@faithoyedepo.org; OR 07026385437 and 08141320204.
