GODLY IMPACT FOR TODAY (Monday, April 18, 2016)
YOUR LOTS IN CHRIST JESUS
“For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly”- Psalms 84:11
Part of the attributes of God is that He’s a sun and shield, meaning He’s a light and a covering. He gives grace, the divine enablement to do things and to be involved in the doings of men. He gives glory, that is honor in his own order, not having anything to do with shame. He will not also as a matter of His nature and person withhold any good thing from those that walk uprightly. And to walk uprightly is to walk rightly or righteously, not as in a humanly moral way, but in Christ Jesus. Those that are walking in Christ Jesus are those described as walking uprightly.
So, are you in Christ Jesus? living the life He has giving unto you, then be sure that the Lord is your sun (light unto you), your ways are lighted, no darkness on your path and is glory is on you. Also know that He’s your shield ( covering), your security is guaranteed. Also, for you in Christ Jesus, grace and glory is your lot.
And any good thing that you desire and you are to live with, God won’t withhold from you. Thank Him always for all these that you have in Him and make your request based on His word, let your mentality be what His word has spoken and your confessions shouldn’t be negating the destiny God has for you.
DECLARATIONS: The Lord is my sun, He is my shield, He gives glory and grace unto me, and I have all good things because I walk uprightly in Christ Jesus, Amen.
