“Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain” (Psalm 127:1, NKJV).
If we rely on our own efforts to accomplish the plans we set for ourselves, all our efforts will amount to nothing. We are only successful when our plans have God’s blessing. This holds true in all areas of our life.
