Hammond ’s highly anticipated new album I Will Trust
is available everywhere today. The album’s first
single and title track was inspired by Hammond’s
recent journey to recovery after undergoing a double
knee surgery.
When talking about I Will Trust, Hammond says, “I
had to learn how to walk again, but I did it and
trusted God and that’s kind of what makes this album
special. All of the emotional trauma that came with it.”
Scores of Hammond’s fans were able to experience
the new music from I Will Trust during the Festival of
Praise Tour, which he and label mate Donnie
McClurkin headlined recently. The tour, which visited
30 cities across the United States, will pick up again in
2015. In addition Fred Hammond is currently on a

MESSAGE
Due to the current challenges confronting the life of some
believers, they wonder in their hearts if they can ever
make it. They wonder if life will just pass them by. They
wonder if they can ever stand out among their contemporaries. If you belong to this class, I have good news for you: yes you can become outstanding among others in spite of your current situation. There were many sons of the prophets in the days of Elisha, but only he stood out, so much so that the king of the land acknowledged him, calling him my father. To this end, as previously learnt yesterday, you need to have a vision of what you want to become in order to stand out. You need to choose to change because your choice in life determines your chance. You must be prepared for newideas.
You must maintain good relationships, as the greatest poverty is to not have good friends. Also, you must be informed on current happenings around you.
Besides all these, you must be teachable. From our scripture reading, the man sick of the palsy and his friends, came to the teaching service of Jesus; this shows that these men were teachable. When you stop learning, you stop growing and then you begin to degenerate. It is either one is moving forward or else one is drawing back.
You will ever move forward in Jesus’ Name. You cannot be reached if you are not teachable. So many of God’s people are just too full of themselves, they are self-conceited and are impervious to corrections. This will not help you become a success; it is the deceit of the devil to rob you of a good future.
Furthermore, the sick man and his friends were determined. Determination is the route to distinction and excellence. With their determination, they broke every barrier that was on their way. You also must be a barrier breaker. Sternly confront every obstacle on your way and pull them down by the power of God in your life. This power is generated through a life of holiness and prayers.
Finally, the friends of the sick man positioned him before the Lord. You must position yourself also before the Lord for your miracles, just like Zacchaeus did to gain the attention of Jesus (Luke 19:3-5).
PRAYER POINT
Father, every barrier standing against my getting to the top, let them be demolished in Jesus’ Name. Lord, help me to stand out among my peers.

Shiloh 2014 live is just a few days away and it will
be telecasted here.
Shiloh 2014 Live will be broadcasted right here for
all those who couldn’t make it to Shiloh 2014 to

Therefore, let’s take a recap of the Shiloh event so

Shiloh 2014 Date
The date for this epic event has been unveiled by
Bishop David Oyedepo in the Epistle that was read
to all members of the commission recently and the
Date falls on December 9 – 13 2014.
Therefore get set and prepare yourself adequately for
that said date.
Shiloh 2014 Theme
The theme has also gone forth and revealed by the
Bishop so that adequate preparation towards the
event will ensue. The theme for this year’s Shiloh
2014 live is “Heaven on Earth” According to the
Bishop, it will be a live transforming event where
destinies will be met.
Shiloh 2014 Live will also be an event of
turnaround. Accordingly, Turnaround means different
things to different people.
For the students, it means from failure to success;
for the businessmen (breakdown to breakthrough) to
the poor, it means prosperity and to the sick;
healing.
The God of turnaround is set to meet all
participants at the points of their needs.
SHILOH 2014 PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHTS
Here are Shiloh 2014 programme highlights for all
those that will be travelling to Canaanland, Ota and
all those that will be watching the event live.
Shiloh 2014 Morning Session – The Morning
session of Shiloh 2014 live will kick-start by 7am.
This is the morning session of the event and will
last between 7am and 11am. This will contain a
series of 3 Teachings.
Shiloh 2014 Healing School – The healing school
will be coming up by 11.30am to 1.30pm daily just
immediately after the morning session. This
particular session is for those oppresses and all
those who need a touch of the spirit.
Shiloh 2014 Business Summit – All business
oriented individuals, businessmen and business
women are to be a part of this particular session.
The time is 11.30am to 1.30pm daily.
Shiloh 2014 Youth Alive Forum – For all youths,
this is the session for you all. The Youth Alive forum
will kick-start by 3pm and ends by 5pm. Issues
pertaining to all the youths will be discusses here
e.g. relationship matters, dating, godliness, etc.
Shiloh 2014 Evening Session – This is the much
anticipated programme of Shiloh 2014 Live and you
must not miss any of it. The evening session kicks
off by 7pm and runs till 10pm. The Bishop himself
will be teaching during this session.

servant.
Exceeding Grace and Strange Acts is already a
reality. The presiding Bishop of the Living Faith
Church aka Winners Chapel worldwide in the person
of Bishop David Oyedepo has released the date and
theme of this year’s Shiloh 2014 during the
Leadership Program that took place on the 1 of
October, 2014.
During the Leadership programme that took place o
the 1 which was specially designed for all church
workers, deacons & deaconesses, unit members and
leaders alongside all pastors Nationwide, the
Presiding Bishop David Oyedepo centred his
teachings on Stewardship even as he disclosed that
your size in the race of life is a function of your
insight into the mysteries of the kingdom.
Bishop David Oyedepo before dropping the theme of
Shiloh 2014 disclosed that without contention, there
can never be a possession even as he quotes from
Deut. 2:24, Ezekiel 36:37 and Psalms 67:5-7.
He also disclosed that where your Joy stops will be
where your bountiful harvest will stop likewise.
Even in line with Shiloh 2014, God’s servant
disclosed that serving God pays; especially if you
are serving Him according to His rules and not by
grudging or of necessity or because someone is
forcing you to serve.
Recounting a brief experience of his life to members
before Shiloh 2014 live telecast, Bishop Oyedepo
disclosed that he knew that things must turn for
him and his family when there was nothing actually
on ground but Stewardship.
The Leadership program that spans over 2hours
saw Bishop pouring out his blessings to members of
the church via Live broadcast in all viewing centres.
Just a few minutes before the close of the event,
Bishop Oyedepo wished the members of Winners’
Chapel nationwide a happy independence and
unveils the theme and date of Shiloh 2014 as listed

with a Lady a Christian by title and by religion, I asked
her “Do You Know Jesus? she answered I don’t know
Jesus, but this was a serious battle this day that I felt so
bad that so many Worshippers in Church, who sings and
praise in Church do not know the one they serve..
Hmmm!! it is so pathetic to see people dying in Church
day and night without Jesus.
it is high time we lunch to the world to tell the whole
nations about Christ Jesus.
Remember Holiness is the heartbeat of God the Father.

Leadership … it can be a hard place to be. It’s not necessarily going to always be a popular place and you’re frequently called to balance the good of the many and the ministry against the good of the few, while not forgetting that you’re working with individual people who have feelings, issues, goals and sometimes even agendas. If God has put you in a position of leadership within your group, there are a couple of things to remember up front.
Romans 12:8 “…if it is leadership, let him govern diligently.”
1 Cor 14:40 “But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way”.
Someone who leads in a humble, but righteous manner for the Lord is the opposite end of the spectrum from a dictator who rules with an iron fist simply because he/she can. My grandma always used to say “too many cooks in the kitchen spoils the stew.” I understand that now, as a leader, like I never did as a child. In ministry, there will always be people that have inspired ideas and the key is learning how to organize them so they feel comfortable working with you towards the common goal of glorifying Christ, rather than having a hodge-podge of stuff being either thrown around at random or everybody doing there own thing.
There are many positions of leadership in Christian Music Ministry. Some examples are:
Choir Director
Worship Team Leader
Youth Praise Band Leader
Childrens Choir Director
Band Leader for Independent Group

Regardless of which position you hold, you must make sure that the other members of your team are on the “same sheet of music” that you and the ministry are on. Remember that you were all called to share God’s glory through music. Romans 12:3 – 8 is a good Scripture to follow. Many parts … one body. Just like the human body would not be able to sustain life if the kidneys, liver, heart, lungs and brain all decided to do “their own thing,” a ministry can not survive if the members are all doing their own thing. Think about how a military unit is organized. If every soldier in a company decided to do their own thing because they thought their ideas were better than that of their commanding officers, people could get killed in times of conflict. Conflict within the body of Christ can lead to something worse than death … it can lead to spiritual death, so the responsibility to work together is even greater.
As a leader, you will be led by God to do things in a certain order. God is not a God of chaos and confusion. While you should certainly be open to suggestions given in a reasonable manner and at a time before or after practice, you can’t allow practice to be disrupted by other people wanting to “run the show.” Bottom line … it doesn’t glorify God in the least bit for members of the body to be attacking each other and being little whirlwinds of unproductive activity.
Yes, leadership can be an unpopular spot at times, but the rewards are tremendous. It is a mighty gift from God. You have been given the opportunity to make music that will encourage, exhort and edify the body of Christ. Make the most of it, honoring Christ with all that you do, and one day, you will hear “Well done my good and faithful servant.”
