“The more you choose to see the better you become”. Those were the words that came to my mind as I was about to write this piece to you. The reason why many of us are where we are presently is because we have chosen not to see any better place than this or we have chosen to ignore or believed in our Heart that we can never achieve the better place we are seeing.
The very reason why we tend not to forget the names of some people is because somehow they have shown to the world what they were made up of. The likes of Ben Carson, Dangote, Otedola, Barack Obama and Our very own President Buhari. These men saw something many people were not seeing although as they strived to achieve their vision they encountered several challenges yet they never relented. Instead, they pushed more; taking their challenges as stepping stones and learning from their weaknesses and failures.
So friends what has happened to your dreams, vision and ambition? Did you just let them go because of some impossibilities you faced? Have you given up in yourself because of the difficulty you have faced? It’s time to fix your eyes on them again. Gather yourself together and re-strategize. One of the reasons the Eagle never misses its target is its ability to keep focus at it while doing all it can to get it. Get up. It’s time to work. I believe in vision.
One killing agent that hinders many, is their inability to see possibilities. Many of us don’t believe in ourselves. You hear people say “I can’t” a lot but I’ve noticed, with my little years in leadership that if such people are pushed a bit, they end up doing those things they said they couldn’t do, well. So, that’s the principle. Belief in yourself. Belief in your dreams. Go for it, persist, push, do all you can and learn from your failures.

The Purpose II
To everything there is a reason and a purpose of existence. It is our duty to search it out and live in full details of Purpose. One good question I hear from most people is “how they can discover their purpose”. Very quickly I will be discussing on this. Your purpose on earth is unique to you and only you can live to achieve it.
If you are confused on what exactly it is, answer these questions.
1. What do I have passion for?
2. What can I do best?
3. What do I love doing even if I am not being paid for it?
4. What are my skills and in born talents?
The answers to these questions would guide you, in identifying your purpose in life. It is not farfetched from the very things you do, normally. Let’s consider the story of Moses. Moses was born to fulfil the purpose of leading the children of Israelite to the promise land. Initially he wasn’t aware of this but one thing he hated so much was the fact that the children of God, the Israelites were been used by the Egyptians. He hated the fact that these set of people work so hard and yet are not being appreciated and so he showed his anger by killing one of the Egyptians. This was his hidden passion “set the Israelites free” but he did not understand that God has kept in him that desire because of the purpose he had in mind for him to fulfil.
What are you so passionate about? What do you easily get irritated about? These things can be a pointer to the purpose God has destined you to achieve.

The Purpose

The word purpose simply means the reason for existence. Every living thing God created has a purpose attached to it and that is not neglecting us as humans. We all had a divine mandate and scriptures reminds us in the hook of Genesis why humans were created. Genesis 1:26 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth”.
We were created to take charge and dominate the earth. It saddens me to see that most of us are been dominated by things that worth nothing. You were created to dominate and not be dominated upon. What has happened?
Genesis 1:28 reads “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth”. This is the reason why you were created. If you are living otherwise then you have ignored the manual for your life.
The sun knows what it ought to do and does it, the moon knows what it ought to do and does it too. What would have happened if the sun refused to shine for one day? You know better. That’s how sadden it is when we ignore that same purpose we were created for and focus on unnecessary things. It’s high time you get back to the Life Manual and live according to the purpose you were made

Start Today
Wisdom is not in how much you know but how good you are in taking right steps during difficult and challenging times. So let’s say you might have all the knowledge of everything in this world but that does not make you wise either.
Life is not about how much you know but how much you do? What exactly are you doing? You have heard over and over again, you have read a lot but why you have not noticed any change in your life is because you have refused to take the right steps.
The prove of any acquired knowledge is the application of it. It is not enough to attend events, conferences and seminars but nothing to show for it. It is not enough to attend church services all through this year and yet your life is still the same it was when the year started. Something must be wrong.
I write to you because you are strong. You still have some time to put things in place. Stop procrastination and execute. You can’t be living in your past and expect a change. It is not possible. A bright tomorrow awaits those who maximize lessons and live productive lives.
Your actions in life, will only tell how much and how well you know in life. We can know for sure everything about you from your daily habits and actions.

There is a King in you
1 Peter 2:9 “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light”
We so soon forget our identity due to the different challenging times we go through. Kings do not bow their heads down for anything. They don’t. So why are you intimidated by the things you see around you. The three Hebrew boys understood this. They knew their identity. They understood who they were and where they were from.
Scriptures records that they made up their minds not to bow their head to an unknown God. Who is intimidating you? What is intimidating you? Haven’t you read of the scenario between the young David and Goliath. Did you notice how David was furious in his spirit that an uncircumcised Philistine was challenging His God? The young man knew who he was.
You need to awake to this reality for you are not a slave, you’ve been chosen. A peculiar people by God. A royal Priesthood. You have the royal blood in you. So the next time fear comes you overcome the spirit of fear by the word of God in you. Ye only err because you do not know the language of the kingdom. I charge us to study more of God’s word. Get familiar with the language of the kingdom which is our confidence as Kings here on earth. Ecclesiastes 8:4 Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?
2 Timothy 1:7 “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind”. Fear has no right over you. God has not given that to you. But power and soundmind. So take charge and have dominion over your territory which is this earth. Live in Dominion for there is a King in you and fear has no right over you.

Move on
“And it came to pass, when David and his men were come to Ziklag on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the south, and Ziklag and smitten Ziklag, and burned it with fire. And had taken the women captives, that were therein; they slew not any either great or small but carried them away and went on their way.
So David and his men came to the city, and behold it was burned with fire, and their wives and their sons and their daughters were taken captives. And David and the men with him lifted up their voice and wept until they had no more power to weep”. I Samuel 30: 1-4
This was David, the mighty King. We sometimes go through somethings, not because God doesn’t know about them but because He wants us to learn to trust him even in such circumstance. For David it was a very difficult situation for him. Yet He trusted God for a way out and that was what He got. Later part of the scripture says he recovered all that was lost and stolen from him.
We are all blind men walking into a tomorrow we know nothing about so stop blaming yourself for those wrongs you have made. Forgive yourself and move on. Move on and make yourself happy. Don’t give in to your mistakes and failures.
What other mistake can be greater than waisting years of your life doing something unproductive. If you don’t fall sometimes you will never know how people rise up when they fall. It’s a process in making. You’re getting life experiences and becoming a better person. So move on and forgive yourself for those mistakes that hurts you.

Love; the strongest force ever
Love is kind and not selfish. It doesn’t think of its own, it’s not puffed up, thinketh no evil, rejoices in truth. Is a force that even the devil cannot resist. It can only be seen by our daily actions not by mere words. Love should be unconditional, so why act otherwise? We were asked to Love our neighbor as ourselves. You know that’s one difficult thing to do, but the height of true love indeed.
Sometimes I think about the love Christ showed to us humans and I wonder what kind of love it was? The next time you have a quarrel with someone and you are wondering if you should forgive or not. Remember that Love is not puffed up? The next time you feel cheated and you want to repay evil for evil, remind yourself that love does not think evil. The next time you are wondering how best to reward a great work that someone did for you, act in love by doing to him what you would have requested if you were in his shoes.
Love the greatest gift of all. You might have all the gifts of the spirit but if you do not have love then you are referred to as a sounding brass or a tinkling cymbal. Thats how important God wants you to love. Stop taking actions based on your impulse. Learn to look inward and let the gift of love play out from within. I have written this piece to you, because I love you.
Are you tired of the actions people take towards you? Your driver, staff, relatives or friends. Are you already getting tired of your relationship or marriage? You know what, give this force a trial. Love hard, love that fellow as if you won’t have another chance. Love with sincerity of heart. Try it and you’ll get a different result. It’s a force nothing can resist. Love right, love in purity.

REMAIN FOCUS
It’s true that most times we might get distracted form our goals or a particular thing because of some near-by distractions but what matters is that we get back to that same thing or goal we had in mind initially. Even the bible encourages us to keep our eyes on Christ the author and finisher of our Faith because we are of a truth going to face so many distractions from our Faith and believe in God.
Your productivity is a function of how focus you are and how determined you are. I love this part of scriptures that reminds me about the action Jesus took, when they wanted to make him king. He knew what He was called to be, He understood he had a mission like each of us do, but we are busy with some unnecessary things. Jesus knew He had to be about His Masters business and he found a way to walk through their midst unnoticed. He actually walked out from the offer of being the King and ruler of that Kingdom.
You see, sometimes your distractions could be far better that what you are doing right now but be wise to weigh each of the options you have carefully. Saul was a King who was not focused on what He was called to do. He got distracted with attending to His belle and needs that He ignored God’s instruction. This cost him his throne. Samson was a Nazarite who was not also focused on his assignment. He got distracted with the laps of delilah and that cost him his life.
Be Focused, it will help you in achieving more. Live Focus and pursue your dreams and goals. 2017, five (5)months countdown.

It is in your hands
As I write this article I remember the very words that was told to Moses when he was complaining to God about crossing the Red Sea. “Moses what is in your hand”. Moses was surprise because what he had in his hands was just a rod which he used as his staff. This was this same rod that was used in parting the red sea.
Let me be that Voice of God to you today asking you this same question “What is in your hands? We easily forget the things that have been given to us while we spend more time desiring those things that has been given to others. The success you need can be achieved by the things that have been committed in your hands .Look inward. Look within, they might not be anything big but those small things can have a strong impact if you only know how to channel it.
By Looking inward I mean you look into these things:
Your network
Your gifts and Talents
Your skills
Your Testimonies
Your weakness
Your network determines a lot about your net-worth and this is one vital opportunity you can maximize. Your gifts and talents are your strength, maximize it. Look out for organizations where you can volunteer yourself. Your skills are those things you have learnt over the years. Your testimonies are the results you have had. Your weakness is also not to be ignored. It could be harnessed into productivity.
Take a pause and think about this: What would have happened if Moses refused to use the staff in his hands? What would have happened if David ignored his catapult and pebbles? What would have happened if the present President of our beloved nation listened to the majority that complained that he was too old? What would have happened if you refused to read this digest? Every action you take is based on your decision? It is in your hands? Take the right step and get serious with your life. It is in your hands.

Speaking as a music blogger, I often times receive upwards of 30-40 new music submissions a day. Many top tier bloggers receive even more than that. That means that your music submission, assuming you sent it via email, will fall somewhere in between the hundreds or maybe even thousands of other non-music related spam emails that the blogger receives on a daily basis.
There are a number of things that you can do as an artist or artist manager to give your submission a better chance of being opened, being viewed, being listened to, and then hopefully, being written about and shared.
Note
1) Understand Your Press List
You must understand the genre of songs you do, and also have your detailed biography and about the song you are releasing with good graphics image of the album or Single(Specified Size). It is very important to put your social media details on the press submission.
2) Have a Detailed Subject Line
If you’re going to stand out from the crowd you better have a damn good subject line. Is your song a new release? State out if you have an MP3 or Video attached to your press. Is your song featuring a big name artist that might be more well-known than yourself? Call it out.

3) Keep the Description Simple
Remember that the recipients of your song submission receive many submissions per day. They don’t want to read a novel when determining whether or not to listen to and post a song. Tell a concise story about who you are and your music. Have you been featured elsewhere? Toured with a famous band? Have a famous cousin? Why are you different? Why should we care about you?
