he redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and [grief] shall flee away.
Isaiah 51:11
Did you know that as a believer you’ve been redeemed from the curse of grief and sorrow by the blood of Jesus Christ? You don’t have to put up with them any more than you have to put up with sin or sickness or disease.
God started teaching me about this personally several months before my mother went home to be with Him in August 1988. Every time He’d show me something about it, I’d put it into practice. (You ought to do that with anything God is teaching you. Start practicing it now, and you can walk in it when the time comes!)
So, eight and a half months before my mother left, I began standing against grief and sorrow. I made a decision to “sorrow not.” Immediately the devil began to attack my emotions.

God’s Word Will Never Fail If You Believe
Have you received any promise from God or His word and you are yet to see the fulfillment of it? Don't be discouraged for it shall surely come to pass, though it tarries be rest assured that it will be fulfilled in your life. However, you need to believe till you receive it. This post emphasizes the truth that God's word will never fail if you will choose to believe Him.
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it - Isaiah 55:11 (NKJV).
God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? - Numbers 23:19 (NKJV).
"Then the LORD said to me, "You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word." - Jeremiah 1:12 (NKJV).
God has no problem fulfilling His word in your life. He who created the whole universe and everything within will not have challenge doing what He said He will do. The question is, "will your faith be able to hold on till it receives the promise?".

That is, He forbids some of the things He brings about and He commands some of the things He hinders and if only we can listen and yield to Him, then there won’t be any hindering or room to regret, rather, things will begin to happen in scripts and you can begin to see lights ( Psalm 119:105. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path ). Here in this song, Enea Kelvin is calling on us all to surrender and yield totally to the will of God and ask Him to Speak to us every step of the way.
